Luxury Hotels In Vancouver
Fairmont Pacific Rim
The Fairmont Pacific Rim has the buzziest hotel lobby in Vancouver, with a lounge that’s one of the most popular after-work spots in town. Straight ahead, just past the museum-like glass display case featuring beaded vintage couture, is a massive staircase leading to The Botanist, the second-floor restaurant. The entire lobby level, from its white stone flooring and pillars, to the planter boxes that (barely) separate the lounge from the entrance, drips in understated opulence.
Rosewood Hotel Georgia
Locals were awed when they walked through Rosewood Hotel Georgia’s doors when it reopened in 2011 after a renovation that, among other things, expanded the size of the existing rooms and reduced the number of available suites from 313 to 156. This was a careful, tasteful transformation; the grandeur and history of the hotel was clearly respected, allowing the Georgia to once again assume its place as one of the finest Vancouver hotels. The reception area, with its polished stone floors and comfortable sitting area, is understated and elegant.
Opus Hotel Vancouver
The Opus is Yaletown’s only hotel and one of the few boutique hotels in Vancouver. Some people prefer larger hotels where you can come and go without anyone knowing your name, but when you stay at the Opus, their personalized service will make you feel like a VIP guest. Yaletown is well known for its boutiques and tasty restaurants so a new outfit and delicious meal are all within arm’s reach. The Opus Hotel’s rooms are lively and vibrant and complete with plenty of gadgets and comforts that will make you feel right at home. Located across the street from the Canada Line, getting to and from the airport is a cinch.
The Sutton Place Hotel

The Sutton Place has decadent bedding, wonderful service and it’s in a prime location right on Burrard Street and Robson Street. It really doesn’t get much more downtown than this and getting around the city is a breeze from here. If you’re hungry, make sure to check out the hotel’s on-site restaurant, Boulevard. This lovely restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Up for a nightcap? Check out the hotels lounge, the Gerard Lounge for something quiet, cozy and intimate.
